Marc Emery - Photo Collection

Marc Emery, the "Prince of Pot", became a political prisoner of the United States of America when he pleaded guilty to charges in September, 2009. As a marijuana activist, politician, and Cannabis Culture founder, he fought against the blatant ignorance of drug laws. He is currently in custody and waiting to extradited to the U.S. to be jailed. The 52 year old leaves behind loves ones and a legacy of bravery.

All of this because America is acting to slowly to change laws that jail millions of innocent citizens and even patients. Marijuana is not illegal because it is dangerous, it is illegal because it suits the preferences and wallets of some of the richest Americans, and we as it's citizens constantly allow our voices to be drowned by the millions of dollars those individuals throw at the politicians we elect.
