The 1920's was a strange time in America. We had just survived World War 1 and the people were recovering from a worldwide influenza epidemic. In 1920 President Harding ran with the “return to normalcy” campaign. The people were on edge and looking for peace and serenity, “what they got was the complete opposite.” America had crawled into isolation after the war and the United States refused to join the League of Nations and rejected all activism by the non-conservatives. In 1920 just two years after the Treaty of Versailles national prohibition was fueled by the Anti-Saloon League and the Women's Christian Temperance Union,a progressive movement that had so much power within some states that persuading local politicians wasn't even a challenge. Their true motives were racially fueled which goes along perfectly with marijuana laws.
The 1920's also brought with it countless immigrants from Mexico. Flooding our borders they searched for work, they also taught Americans the recreational use of marijuana.”Ultimately this became the catalyst of the fear in the 1930's.” Research projects were launched by our government that taught that marijuana was evil and linked to violent acts and deviant behaviors, that we would be a social outcast compared to the less fortunate ones if we indulged...
In The Great Depression families struggled to eat and work was scarce at best. There were new invaders on our crippled economy lurking in the shadows with their Spanish culture and their non English vocabulary. It seemed the government became aware of their recreational use of marijuana, this was the very same plant that was so helpful in the foundation of American culture in the early colonial years. So in 1930 the Federal Bureau of Narcotics (FBN) was founded to put a stop to this socially unaccepted behavior.
Propaganda was a method of programming the minds and creating social zombies, this was a trick used by Fascist dictators to make the public aware of the "danger" right under their noses. “We are always watching.” In 1936 the film Reefer Madness was produced by a French film-maker Louis Gasnier to give a ridiculous interpretation of what the vulnerable minds were getting themselves into. Scare campaigns were launched and the youth were being programmed.
In 1937 the Marijuana Tax Act was launched to criminalize the use of the "devil's plant". These scare tactics were a very important part of the governments plan to control the minds of those who were lashing out. As the 1950's went by and harsher sentences were enforced the curious minds of the youth had gotten a little older and more intrigued by the plant, this in-turn sparked the counterculture of the 1960's. War was stirring in Vietnam and the Russians were going to “invade” at any moment. Somehow the 1960's were becoming a carbon copy of the roaring 20's, it had all the same ingredients war and fundamental changes.
Richard Nixon was paranoid and had delusions of the public hating him. In 1961 he launched the War on Drugs and it manifested itself into more modern propaganda such as the D.A.R.E program that was spoon feed like honey to the youth, and then all the crazy commercials of a deranged woman freaking out in her perfect home in the suburbs. Or what about the egg in the frying pan?
That very same fear is what has been programmed into the minds of today's leaders, the faces have changed but that good down home policy is still the same. It seemed it had always been lurking in the shadows; watching and regulating waiting for us too make the wrong moves. Like a game of chess where the stakes are the civil liberties and personal freedoms. How do we get past the mind games and properly educate? With the economy in turmoil again and America digging its financial grave deeper and deeper the elite still are in a stage of confusion about how to cut back on federal spending. In 2006 there were 829,627 marijuana arrests (89 percent were for only possession) and there were 786,545 in 2005.
Since 1997 the NYPD has arrested 430,000 people... That means that about 13 billion dollars a year is spent on the incrimination of people who choose to smoke marijuana.
In 2004 President Obama was clearly sending a message that we should in fact decriminalize marijuana, now it seems that things have went up in smoke. Obama told Rolling Stone magazine that “it's expensive, it's counterproductive, and it doesn't make sense.” So where are we now with the possibility of decriminalizing marijuana? It seems that the bank bailouts and a $6 billion dollar Give/Serve act for Americorp has become the top objective. The fear of being ostracized by the ones in power is again plaguing the mind of the commander in chief..
If you have a large population of people living together, a structure of power to preside over it must be built in order to control. A system of ignorance is a large part of control. “If you know that your child misbehaves when he has too much sugar, do you not refuse him sugar until he is older?”

We need to first understand the agenda. If you look at the strange layer just below the surface you will start to see something very deep rooted into the history of organized civilizations, as long as there is a system to rebel against there has been the forceful hand to regulate. I believe that we are in the stages of removing the veil that was placed over our eyes but is our freedom a concern to the elites?
There has been massive anti-drug campaigns launched within our past to manipulate and create a non opinionated culture.. The comfort zones that were spawned from these government funded scare campaigns were to keep the herd in order. Their greatest fear is that we will “wake up.” The normal if you will are walking asleep and not going against the grain,”this is exactly what they want.” The political structure is about control and keeping order within the masses.
It all breaks down to once the public becomes informed and breaks-away from the government controlled educations and uses tools of conscious expansion to become aware, you then become a new structure of policies that are not intertwined with their agendas.
