Afghani - Baked Life's Strain Encyclopedia - Indica

Afghani is the choice of many Indica-heads who prefer their ganja without a trace of Sativa or Skunk, these purists will only consume weed or hash that they know to be 100% Cannabis Indica. For a lover of Indica Afghani is extremely sought after and highly regarded.

Afghani is known for the large of amounts of THC on it's buds. Which is the case for most Indicas but especially noticeably in this weed. Because of the high THC percentage it gives its smoker a tremendous body high. Anyone who sampes can testify to being truly stoned afterwards. The high THC count also makes this strain great for producing Hash, which is very popular in Middle Eastern cultures.

Bonus History

The plants from the fast, heavy, compact side of the cannabis family tree are named Indica after India, and it’s true that these strains are commonly grown for charas (hash) in the mountainous north of the country. However, the most perfect examples of the dark, ultra-resinous Cannabis Indica genotype are actually found hundreds of kilometres to the northwest, in the mountains of Afghanistan, like Afghani.
