The 420 girls make smoking weed hot as hell. The site was founded to spread an awareness of marijuana. I'm not entirely sure what that means, or how they do it, but I'm not sure anyone really cares.
I don't want to be shunned by my majority female audience (statistical fact) for promoting the objectification of women. So let me say that if there was enough demand to create a 420guys.com I would do a post about it as well.
It would be incorrect to say that 420.com has done nothing for the pro-marijuana movement. A lot of the women on the site are very active in Marijuana Reformation.
One woman Aya was particularly adamant, she said, "It kills me how many people are ignorant and or just plain old lazy. If you aren't even registered you can't even sign the petitions that get measures on ballots... Wake up people! Get your ass Registered to VOTE so we can change these laws! If you don't vote, you don't matter! Oh yeah, and Stop smoking schwag!"
Anyway, be sure to check out the site. The publishers of the website are also the publishers of 420 magazine. They also have a coffee able book entitled "Naked Girls Smoking Weed". When they send me my free copy I'll fully endorse it, until then just check it out for yourself. Maybe this'll inspire a Baked Life Babes. Scratch that.

ReplyDelete"[M]arijuana has no scientifically proven medical value." So stated the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) on page six of a July 2010 agency white paper, titled "DEA Position on Marijuana."
In the report it states "There is no sound scientific evidence that smoked marijuana can be used safely and effectively as medicine. Congress enacted laws against marijuana in 1970 based in part on its conclusion that marijuana has no scientifically proven medical value."
Sounds like something else I have read this is from just googling on the internet..........
In 1899 the head of the U.S. Patent Office sent his resignation to President McKinley urging the closing of the office because "everything that could be invented has been invented." It's been told and retold so often that even President Reagan used it in a speech.
SO your telling me the DEA is going off a study back in the 1970's and refuse to look at new age studies kinda seems like we have a pessimistic part of the government on our hands who can't see the stems through the buds, so to speak. I don't feel I represent all Americans but I do feel everyone has the right to know about medical marijuana, the plant factors, and all true blind folded studies about the subject without bias from the government, large pharmaceutical company's, or even 30 year vets of pot smokers. True un-cut facts is what should be delivered to "we the people", and then put it to the ballet for vote and not just state but federal as well. That's just my 2 cents.
The reason the DEA states that MJ has no medical value may be because the area could be under-studied from a clinical perspective.
ReplyDeletePhysicians practice and create policy from studies referred to as "evidence based guidlelines". Studies can be conducted on drugs, devices, surgical procedures and even lifestyle modifications.
If there happen to be a severe lack of studies, to support the use of medical marijuana, then Dr's will remain hesitant to prescribe and the DEA actually may have a point.
Dr's do not generally prescribe therapies that do not have the backing of institutions such as the American Medical Association(AMA).
