After the Democratic National Convention passed many of us still had many unanswered questions. When I say us I literally mean you readers and me, and what I mean by that is pot smokers. I realize not all of you are Americans, but even if you aren't your countries drug policy is still influenced by ours.
After the convention Nancy Pelosi was on CNN and was asked why she thought Marijuana legalization legislation (tongue twister) was being held up in Congress. Her answer was basically that more work needed to be done outside of Congress before they could move forward.
NORML.com was quick to point out that the majority of registered voters are already for legalization. It's a shame that democrats are still afraid of action. It seems like it's going to take a whole new set of bold congressmen before any real action is going to take place.
